Törökbálint  - Since last year, Hungarian Baptist Aid maintains the Tabitha Children’s Hospice House that is specialized to improve chronically, terminally or seriously ill children’s and their families’ quality of life. The Home has been operating for 6 years. Last Friday, April 28th, was their memorial day.

The Home organized its 5th memorial day for the children who were in contact with the institution during their lifetime (or also lived in the house). Dr. Gábor BENYÓ medical director welcomed the children’s relatives. The goal of the program was to remember together and participate in grief therapies, receive professional helps, talk with psychologists, and watch sensual and compelling presentations. The visitors lighted up candles together, painted stones in the garden of remembrance and leased balloons to the sky.

TabithaChildren’s Hospice House started its operation in September 2011 in Törökbálint, after the founder, László GALAMBOS, offered his family house and operational fund to the initiative. The facility is operated by Tabitha Non Profit Ltd. The institution’s new owner, HBAid, provides a stable and transparent background and independent professional work for it.
