On Saturday, May 14th, the girls and mothers, who live in temporary homes that are for families and homelesses, received beauty treatments. Thanks to the volunteers and generous supporters, the ladies received hairdressing and nail care services, cosmetics, office and face massage and other exciting surprises and gifts. They also got to have some rest in the teahouse or fill out interesting tests, and their children could play at the “children’s corner”. If they wished to, they got helps to write their CVs or to update it. “There are several days, such as this one, that we can hear about. Because we knew that the girls and mothers living at our institutions can’t afford these services, we wanted to realize this opportunity for them.” – said Tímea KURJA, Site Manager of Baptist Integration Center in the Temporary Home for Refugees and Protected Families. The ladies expressed their gratitude with joyful smiles, which showed that the event was successful. Almost a hundred ladies participated the event. It couldn’t be realized without the supporters and selfless helpers, such as the Cosmopolitan, Lush or C&A, and private people, who combed and cut the ladies’ hair, cared their nails, and provided other beauty services. The workers of Baptist Integration Center would like to continue this operation in the future as well.
